Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac is also sometimes cited as the inspiration for Animal. However, evidence in the original character sketches reproduced in the 1981 book Of Muppets and Men do not suggest Animal was based on anyone in particular.
Bulger: While certain attributes of Ginger Baker were said to have been the inspiration for Animal, the rock drummer from The Muppets, Animal only played in one band: Dr. Teeth. His style was limited, as was his personality and vocabulary. His creative progression was far surpassed by the spectacle.
Series two of the show has already been greenlit by Netflix and will feature narrators including Andy Serkis, Anthony Mackie, David Harbour and Uzo Aduba and will focus on dolphins, bears, birds of prey and apes. That season will premiere in 2022.

Who narrates Animal season1?
Netflix’s Animal is made up of four episodes – ‘Big Cats’, ‘Dogs’, ‘Marsupials’ and ‘Octopus’ as of November 10th, 2021. Each of the episodes is narrated by a famous person, who some viewers may instantly recognise. Episode 1 of the series is narrated by Rashida Jones.
